Hi, I'm Terry Foley and I've been a member of the Engineering faculty here at
East Los Angeles College since 1975. I am also a graduate of ELAC. I have
community college teaching credentials in Engineering and in Math and I am a
Registered Professional Manufacturing Engineer in the State of California.
Prior to attending ELAC, I spent four years in the U.S. Navy where I served in
Korea and Vietnam. In Vietnam, I was a radio operator aboard the first ship to
take part in the evacuation of North Vietnam. It was the largest mass evacuation
by sea in the history of the Navy.
I am the proud father of three lovely daughters and one awesome grandson.

been as a Structural Design Engineer working on the design of airplanes, missiles,

- the Spartan missile
Hughes Aircraft in El Segundo - a
Japanese weather satellite
